I've now finished photoshop texturing and have spent the last few days getting assets organised in the scene and putting textures in Maya on them. After this all i have left is to do the coke can and the robot.
Im using a mental ray shader called 'mia_material_x' and i choose what suits the asset best, so i can make it look like glass or plastic. i can also add a matte finish, and any of my diffuse maps! im hoping to get this all done by tomorrow morning!


since it brings up render time though, less important things are just using a simple blinn or lambert material
