Been working on the colour for the cafe today! I have no colour skills and while I know a lot of theory (and read allllllllllllll the colour books) i'm pretty terrible at it. Here are my first three attempts. While cafes are normally warm colours, we want the focus point which will be red to pop, so teals and cool colours for the BG are a must. Think I'm finally almost happy with the last image.

12pm today and I've finished doing the Main shots tonal layout.

Next i'll be working to do the tonal layouts for these two shots :)

I didn't finish my environment concepts due to sickness, but we are finally starting in class work this week and I'll be able to do that and a robot concept !

I will be using this blog to record my progress while working on my first short film project in my first year at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment. At this point I have worked on storyboarding and some concepts, and from now on I'll be doing hopefully almost daily updates :)
