In the midst of a house move right now, so have been taking a bit of time off from work, but am back at it today finishing off this desk environment for one of our short film shots... can't wait to see it with proper lighting!

New Portfolio
Today after about a 8 month break I finally got round to publishing my new portfolio website I designed! So happy with how it turned out! Hoping to eventually put my Hunger Pains turntables, VFX Spaceship and Film Jam work on it eventually too.

The Hunger Pains Renders
Finally finished doing some portfolio ready renders of my environment for 'The Hunger Pains' short film I worked on a few months back. Will hopefully have some turntables out eventually too. Lighting was done by Silvany Lim.

Production and a Film Jam
Sorry for the lack of updates lately! Had a very busy month (August), here is a quick recap...
We started production on our end of year project, titled 'Concrete Jungle'. I'm in charge of all the environments, however we are also including some live action back plates, and so not the entire frames will be my work. We are completing the different scenes two at a time, and I essentially finished off the first two yesterday. Here they are...
On the weekend of the 22nd I also participated in a AIE Film Jam. It was my first time working with the particular team I was with and it was a really great experience. I am really happy and surprised with what we managed to produce in such a short time. I worked with another environmental artist to create a 'Cluedo' style Billard room. I worked on the assets (pool table, couches, tables, lamps ect.), while my partner (Josh Bessell) worked on the overall room (walls, fireplace, windows ect.).
I've also been busy working out what to do next year, and putting my portfolio together. Fun times!
